![]() ![]() This is the HUD elements that tells you about the moves you've changed via Switch Skill Swap on the fly, and while it might be a useful reminder, you do NOT need it cluttering your vision 24/7, it's way too intrusive for my tastes.Originally posted by SEXCOPTER RUL:bought this game and after playing many many hours of dark souls 3, sekiro, that latest star wars jedi outcast, then i load this up and what in the absolute ♥♥♥♥ are up with these controls?! Not necessarily the best fit for everyone, but I recommend it.įinally, I recommend changing "Display Switch Skill Info" to Dynamic, and "Skill Switch Info Display Time" to 5 seconds. This feature definitely has downsides, as attacking a WR-stunned monster too much can cancel the Ride opportunity, but IMO once you get the hang of sheathing to trigger the Ride, it's worth the transition to take back some control over your combos, especially in multiplayer where you might wanna leave the Ride as someone else's task, if you just hate the system and want to ignore it, or if you'd rather use Wyvern Ride triggers as a flinch than get the full knockdown. You should also be aware of the new Buttons For Wyvern Riding setting in Controls, which allows you to disable attacking from automatically transitioning you into a Wyvern Ride. You can assign SSS to any of these inputs! But this unfortunately needs two separate inputs AND a radial menu slot, which obviously isn't ideal. The only downside of this input you should be aware of is that rather than directly doing an SSS, it seems to simulate the triple input, so if your weapon is currently capable of doing a double mouse button attack, but NOT an SSS, you will do the double mouse button attack, which you might not have meant to do.Ī method that doesn't have this problem are the radial menus. For the time being I've bound this setting to V as the primary input, as I've settled with Q and Middle mouse button as my Wirebug binds. Thankfully there is a setting called Multi-Button Action/Switch Skill Swap, which you can press to instantly perform an SSS. With this current control scheme you can do it with Q+both mouse buttons, but IMO 3 inputs for one move isn't convenient enough for short notice. The primary thing to know about Sunbreak is that the new Switch Skill Swap (SSS) is extremely important and you may have to execute it on short notice in combat. So, you've downloaded Sunbreak, have you? A few things about Controls will have changed, here's what I recommend you do. Item Bar (Hold)/Reset Camera changed to Z An unused button within reach of the left hand. Reload/Load/Remove Coating/Silkbind changed to R "R" is a classic bind for "reload" and more importantly is easy to reach. Special Attack (Weapon Drawn)/Silkbind changed to Q Easy button to reach from your WASD hand. yep, that's the real use of this bind, the name is very misleading) Ctrl is easy enough to reach while pressing either Q or R. Lock On/Change Target changed to T Same reasoning as above.ĭash (Toggle)/Sheathe Weapon changed to Shift By default, this bind is EMPTY which is borderline unplayable, sheathing your weapon is an important button and IMO should be consistently mapped to Shift.ĭash (Hold) changed to Ctrl (this way, your Silkbind Attack button to hold is Ctrl. You also don't need to really customise the keybinds of Ranged weapons if you aren't planning on using them, and vice versa for melee weapons. Note: Please bear in mind, I don't really use ranged weapons, so this is a control scheme based from a giga casual's perspective. ![]()
